Party Day

We spent a great afternoon at Tom & Britt's celebrating Hayley's 10th birthday. She received flag football from Stan & Heather, so we all put the gear on (flags) and played ball. It was lots of fun. Britt picked tomatoes while we were playing and she did it with Micah in one arm.

Osakis Festival - 150th Anniversary

Had a great time with some of the grandkids today at our annual Osakis Festival. The girls participated in the sandpile money hunt, races, pony rides and kiddie parade. They decorated our toy tractor and three wheeler for the kiddie parade. Tomorrow is another big day for Osakis with the grand parade and more kids activities. The adults are taking in the street dance tonight. We can hear the music here at our house. Nothing like a small town celebration. Very american!

Minnesota Take a Kid Fishing Day

A wonderful day of fishing, swimming and mud fights on Guerney Lake. This lake is located along the south side of Don's home farm. It is very beautiful there. The lake is small but produces some great fishing. These pictures were taken last weekend (June 10) during the Minnesota Take a Kid Fishing event. All adults can fish free if they are fishing with a kid.
